School open days at Robina State School

We have delivered soccer classes at Robina State School in August. We treated 16 classes (about 400 students) during 2 weeks for their school open days. There were very a few soccer boys and girls in each classes though majority of students looked very enjoying our soccer clinic. I think soccer made them feel interesting. Also soccer made them think about concentration, cooperation and tenderness for another students. I always think that great meeting and discovery come from grass roots sports.

去る8月某実、2週間にまたがってゴールドコーストのロビーナ州立高校のスクール・オープンデイに参加しました。豪侍サッカーアカデミーとして、合計16クラスに向けてサッカー教室の時間を頂きました。全校生徒数の半数近い400人の子供達と触れ合う事になりました。競技としてサッカーをしている生徒は全体のごく少数であったものの、サッカーを通して生徒の好奇心や集中力、クラスの団結力などを刺激出来たのではないかと思います。目紛しく新しいシステムの導入や指導者が増えているオーストラリアサッカーですが、大切な部分は草の根にあるのだと感じています。泥臭く、根気強く、エリートではない所から出会い、育てて行きたい。常々自分を戒めるきっかけを沢山の子供達から貰っています。
