Watanabe signed NPL club/渡邉選手 NPLクラブと契約

Shimon Watanabe has just signed contract with "FNQ FC Heat" in NPL Queensland. Watanabe came to Australia to play in Brisbane Premier League (equivalent to 3rd division in Australia) in June 2014. He played with North Star FC for three months as his first season in Australia. During pre-season, he got a lot of offers from Brisbane clubs which play in the 3rd division. But Watanabe was always focusing on playing in NPL as 2nd division here in Australia. He was called up from 2000km far north side in Cairns. The club is FNQ FC HEAT which was runner up also Grand Finalist in NPL 2014 season. There are a few former A-League and professional players in the squad. Watanabe has became "first Japanese player" with FNQ. Look forward to seeing his big action and challenge in National Premier League in the coming season 2015. 

昨シーズンから弊社でサポートしております渡邊志門選手が、昨季NPL QLD(国内２部相当)のシーズン２位であり、ファイナルシリーズにも進んだ【FNQ FC HEAT】と契約をいたしました。昨年６月に来豪し、BPL(国内３部相当)のNorth Star FCで三ヶ月プレー。怪我もあり僅かな出場試合数でしたが、彼のポテンシャルを高く見込んだ複数クラブからシーズン終了後、沢山のオファーをいただきました。しかし、渡邊選手の目標地点へ向けた選択として、NPLクラブとの契約は本人にとって最低目標でもあったため、NPLクラブからのオファーを待ちました。結果として、FNQという強豪クラブと契約出来たのは一つの成果として間違いなくステップアップと言えるでしょう。２０００km北に位置するケアンズに移る事になりますが、渡邊選手の持ち前の明るさと粘り強さで、ここから更に成長してくれると信じています。応援して下さっている方々に心より感謝申し上げます。
